Meet Our Team

Paul O’Donnell |
Chief Executive
Paul founded Pod-Trak Ltd in 2007 after spending six years working throughout the UK and Ireland on various Rail and Infrastructure projects. Starting out as a small sub-contractor, Paul has grown the business in both size and capability to deliver a first-class service to its growing client’s base.
Paul has managed and overseen the implementation of main contractor capabilities within a growing organization which now has the expertise and skills to deliver both large and small projects to the same high standards.
Stephen Given |
Managing Director
Stephen joined the Company in 2010 as a Contracts Manager to head up operations in the North when we opened a new depot in Manchester. He was appointed as Managing Director in 2024.
Stephen has worked closely with key people in the Company to successfully develop the Overhead Line and On Track Plant side of the business which now play a key role in what we do. As Operations Director Stephen is responsible for guiding and continually improving the Company as it grows into new markets while remaining the contractor of choice for our clients. He graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2004 with an Honours Degree in Construction Economics & Management.


David Lowes |
Head of HSQES
David joined Pod-Trak in late 2021 as Head of HSQES. A Chartered Health, Safety and Environment Leader, David has an illustrious career in health and safety, working with major infrastructure companies across the UK in a career spanning nearly 30 years.
David’s attention to detail in setting standards for health and safety, as well as his passion to ensure everyone arrives home safely every day, is important in Pod-Trak’s fantastic safety record.
As Head of HSQES, David is responsible for ensuring Pod-Trak remains safe and compliant across all its projects over all infrastructure, while delivering on a culture where colleagues drive a safe and collaborative environment.
Adam Stanbury |
Operations Director – South
Adam joined the company in 2017 as Operations Director – South, after having worked alongside Pod-Trak for many years. He has a background in Operations & Engineering in both principal contractor, and tier two organisations.
Adam has extensive rail systems, and detailed rail electrification knowledge gained from over 20 years in the industry. He is passionate about people development, operational safety, and the delivery of quality products.
As Operations Director Adam is responsible for guiding and continually improving the Company as it grows into new markets while remaining the contractor of choice for our clients. He graduated from Coventry University with an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
